About me

Hello, friend. I'm Layla, a neurodivergent, ???sexual (read: queer), transgender woman*. I love music, (free and) open source things, history, sociology, philosophy, psychology, language ... and much, much more. I've been an infrequent user of free software (and by extension, Linux) since sometime around 2007, and a full-time user since late 2014.

* Most of these are modifiable, fluid descriptors. Sometimes they ring true, other times they are a bad way to describe me. The order of these listed attributes do not show relevance or preference.

Extra

Oh, I almost forgot to mention. There are phrases I find myself returning to here and there, somewhat like mantras. The ones I've listed below have saved my life more than once. Maybe you'll also take them to heart.

Keep your chins high, my friends, and your fists higher!
The revolution starts in your heart!
We will outlive them!
Hope is a hammer, hope is a force!
I love, you I hope you are doing well!
